Easily create a simple lighting setup with 1, 2 or 3 lights

When you see professional photographers doing portrait shoots with multiple lights, it can seem like it's all very complicated. If you're a beginner, it can be daunting. However, it doesn't have to be difficult to get a nice, effective lighting setup. In her latest video, Jessica Kobeissi is joined by photographer Jake Thomas to demonstrate a 1-2-3 lighting setup.

As you can see, the setups range from 1-light to 3-light setups, which allows for a lot of flexibility for photographers who don't have the budget for three lights. You can do a lot with a light or two when you combine them with reflectors and other modifiers. There are certainly cases where less is more.
