As Fujifilm continues to expand their GF lens lineup, there was a distinct lack of longer lenses. With the new Fujinon GF 250mm f/4 R LM OIS WR, GFX owners now have a nearly 200mm-equivalent prime lens and alongside it, a 1.4x teleconverter designed specifically for the GF 250mm f/4.

I had the opportunity to test out the new lens and the teleconverter, and I came away very impressed. The lens is built extremely well, delivers good autofocus and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and most importantly, it captures very nice images. The lens is very sharp, with or without the teleconverter, and delivers pleasing backgrounds.
