After a series of videos going behind the scenes during his latest trip to the Colorado Plateau, large-format film photographer Ben Horne has released his film reveal video. If you'd like to catch up on the individual videos from the trip, head over to his YouTube channel.

In the video below, Horne shares select images from the trip and discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the different photographs. He has four sheets of Kodak Ektar, which is a color negative film, and half a dozen sheets of Velvia 50. When shooting film, particularly with an 8 x 10 camera, capturing every shot is an in-depth process, so Horne doesn't return from trips with thousands of shots like someone might if they were shooting digital. Also, unlike a digital photographer, Horne doesn't necessarily know what to expect when he opens up the developed shots for the first time. Join him as he learns how the trip went in the video below.
