Canon EOS R Gallery Images: Real-world photos from the Ring of Fire (UPDATED: more photos added)

Update, 9/10/2018: We've added additional real-world gallery images, including a few shots from a pre-production sample of the 28-70mm f/2L lens and photos using adapted EF lenses mounted with a pre-production sample of the EF-to-RF adapter.
Big day for Canon fans, as the Japanese camera maker finally announced their first full-frame mirrorless camera, the EOS R. Sporting a 30MP sensor, DIGIC 8 image processor, fast phase-detect AF and 4K UHD video, the camera is pretty versatile, all-around enthusiast-class full-frame camera.
The IR Team was on-site for the press announcement in Maui, Hawaii, and have now had a couple days to shoot with the new camera as well as two native lenses, the RF 24-105mm f/4L IS and super-fast RF 50mm f/1.2L. We were also able to test out a pre-production sample of the super-big but super-fast RF 28-70mm f/2L zoom as well as a pre-production sample of the EF-to-RF adapter, giving us the chance to try out the EOS R with classic EF DSLR lenses.
To get your pixel-peeping on, head over to our Canon EOS R Gallery Page. Here, you'll find straight-from-camera JPEGs, as well as RAW files. Unless otherwise specified, these images are shot with a final-production-level EOS R body and lenses. The RAW files are available, but as of yet, only Canon's Digital Photo Pro software can read these brand-new files. Adobe, Capture One and other RAW converter support is not yet available.
Stay tuned as we head full-steam into our Canon EOS R review! And note that we're are in the process of adding more gallery images, so keep an eye out for new sample photos!
