Anthony Morganti demos the new features in Adobe Lightroom Classic CC version 8

We have already looked at videos outlining the new features in Photoshop CC 2019 and now we will look at what’s new in Adobe Lightroom CC version 8 thanks to Anthony Morganti.

There are not a lot of new extra features introduced in the newest iteration of Lightroom Classic CC, but there are still features worth discussing, including a new Depth of Field Mask. When you capture images in a “portrait” mode in a smartphone, such as something like a recent iPhone, the camera records a lot of depth data, which it then uses to create the final image. In Lightroom Classic CC version 8, you can now build a mask using the depth data captured by compatible cameras. Below, Morganti demos this new feature. In addition to this, Adobe has added new camera and lens support plus fixed numerous bugs and improved overall performance.
