Our job as camera reviewers is to find the good and the not-so-good aspects of a camera system for you, and we always set out to do just that. But as our Senior Reviewer William Brawley started digging deeper into the inner workings of the new Nikon Z6, he came away with mostly positives while scratching his head to dig up many negatives to report!

Sporting most of the features offered in the pricier, higher resolution Z7, this more affordable model is aimed at the mainstream photographers who neither want the higher resolution nor be encumbered by it, while also shaving a considerable amount off the price! Shooting both wildlife and portraiture, as well as additional subject matter, William puts the Z6 through its initial paces and delves into handling, image quality and more in our first Nikon Z6 Field Test.
