Pro versus amateur photographer: Can a pro capture high-quality images with a point and shoot camera?

Back in 2017, Rachel and Daniel of Mango Street created a video which aimed to show off that photography is not solely about the gear. At the end of the day, photography skills matter more than the gear. There were many questions from viewers about the video, so the duo have revisited the topic with a new video.

This time, they are using an even more expensive "pro" camera and a cheaper "cheap" camera. The cameras are the Canon 1DX Mark II and a $30 Polaroid point and shoot camera. Joining Rachel and Daniel is an amateur photographer, their friend Justin. All three of them will photograph the same model in a studio and in an outdoor environment with variable lighting using both of the cameras. See how it went in the video below.
