All about composition: 3 videos highlight the importance of improving composition

While there is a lot more to a strong image than just its composition, composition is nonetheless a foundational aspect of a good photograph. Today, we have a trio of videos all focused on composition.

The first video comes from Fstoppers and comprises Lee Morris and Patrick Hall sitting down and discussing the art of composition within the context of specific images. If you'd like to take a closer look at the images they discuss in the video below, click here.

Moving to a specific element of composition, we join photographer Andrew Marr as he explores Two Peoples Bay near Albany, Western Australia. As Marr explores the beach, he is looking for interesting foreground and midground elements to include in his composition.

In the third video about composition, photographer Nigel Danson shares three simple tips to help improve your composition and explains why he thinks that seascape photography is a great way to learn about composition.
