When the Canon EOS RP launched, the public reception was a bit mixed. For those hoping for a great full frame vlogging camera from Canon, the RP was not and is not that. For those looking for a solid, affordable, compact and reliable full frame mirrorless camera from Canon, though? Well, the RP delivers in spades. Improving on some features that were overcomplicated on the EOS R while at the same time staying true to its Canon-designed roots, the EOS RP is a very solid entry-level full frame camera that has a lot to offer a wide subset of users.

In short, the EOS RP offers just about everything a beginner to intermediate photographer would want, and does so at an attractive price point while also offering the benefits of a full frame sensor. The autofocus is very reliable, and even features great tracking AF that generally work very well.
