It's Friday, the weekend is almost upon us, and it's time once more for our regular roundup of all the latest updates in this week's Firmware Friday column. And this week, it's a relatively short list, with just one camera, one mount adapter and several pieces of software receiving tweeks in the past seven days.

But enough preamble, let's get right down to it!

Fujifilm H Mount Adapter G, Raw File Converter EX, X Acquire, X Raw Studio and Tether Plug-in Pro for GFX

We'll kick things off with Fujifilm first of all. Not only is the company first alphabetically, but it's also responsible for the bulk of the news this week. Firmware version 1.20 for the H Mount Adapter G resolves an issue with the previous firmware release faiing to work with certain unspecified HC lens firmware. You can download the update here.

Raw File Converter EX 3.0 version 8.1.1.0 for Windows (download here) and Mac (download here)adds support for the GFX 100 camera, and makes no other changes. Fuji's X Acquire software, meanwhile, gains support for tethered shooting and settings backup / restoration for the GFX 50R camera on Windows (version 1.10, download here), and for the GFX 100 on both Windows and Mac OS (version 1.14.0, download here) platforms.

Fuji's X Raw Studio version 1.70 update (download here for Windows or here for Mac OS) adds support for the GFX 100, plus a new rating function, improved conversion speed on Windows only, improvements to file handling on both platforms, and some unspecified minor tweaks and bug fixes.

Finally, the company's Tether Plug-in Pro for GFX version 1.14.0 (download here for Windows or here for Mac OS) adds GFX 100 support, a focus reset function, shortcut keys, and zoom / hand tool buttons.

Ricoh WG-6

And with Fuji's news out of the way, that just leaves Ricoh. Firmware version 1.01 for the Ricoh WG-6 makes just two tweaks as follows, per the official release notes:

  • Improved the power control when the power is turned off with the GPS function ON.

  • Improved the phenomenon that noise is rarely generated in the image that could not be processed shake reduction when the electronic Shake Reduction mode was turned on.

You can download the update here. And that's all for this week! Be sure to check back next time...
