8 out of 10 points and recommendedScharp, nice bokeh (but not great)lose manual focus ring
This is a very fine lens. A bit soft wide open, especialy in the corners, but stoped down (past f3.5) it's extremely sharp. On a digital SLR is becomes a nice portrait lens.reviewed December 23rd, 2006 (purchased for $223)
De manual focusring on my sample is a bit lose and less damped than the manual focus lenses (K, M, A)

This isn't a great nor a bad lens, the best is that it's still quiet sharp at 105mm. It's got a good zoomrange (for FF) and has long been my standard lens. The only disadvantage is the weight. There are better and lighter lenses out there.reviewed December 23rd, 2006
8 out of 10 points and recommendedGreat image qualityNot that flare resistant (for a Pentax lens)
A great lens, very good for traveling because it's quiet light. Probably also a geat lens for DSLR.reviewed December 23rd, 2006 (purchased for $600)
Sold it some time ago and will probably regret it when buying a K10D.
