Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD SP
9 out of 10 points and recommendedGood build, sharp photos and solid AFAF can be slow and the VC takes 1 sec to take full effectOnly had this lens for a week. I am using it with a Canon 50d so the slow AF may, at least in part due to it. I calibrated the AF micro adjustment to the lens and it made a noticeable difference.

Images have been very good, although at the moment my poor image rate is double that I normally have. Probably due to the need to be careful about depth of field issues with at 600mm lens.
While the VC is slow to start, it is very effective and it makes it practical to use this lens handheld.
Overall, the images are as sharp as those I get with a Canon 70-300mm f5.6L. -
Olympus 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS M.Zuiko Digital ED
8 out of 10 points and recommendedSharp images, fast autofocusBulkyI have taken many successful images with this lens which has performed better than the equivalent Lumix lens. The Lumix lens is hard to use due to a stiffish zoom ring. It is also not as sharp and cannot be used with some of the cameras features.

This success was achieved by using the focus limiter and increasing the camera's autofocus sensitivity. The later seems beneficial for all the m4/3 lenses I own.
