8 out of 10 points and recommended
Awesome IQ excellent wide open NOT white zoom lens
    very heavy

I have this lens now for about 2 1/2 years. I got it as an absolute bargain because the front lens barrel was dented. I use it mainly for bird and detail wildlife photography. The lens is, when properly focused pin sharp.(did a focus adjustment however, minimal front focus) And with the focal length, proper focus is of out-most importance. I find very little difference stoping the lens down, as besides some vignetting I hardly see a difference when doing so. I use this lens on canon 1d bodies, but have done so with a 60d as-well. Focus is not as fast as with the canon MK II equivalent. BUT it is more than 10.000$ cheaper AND it has a Zoom. I did use this lens one, just for the fun of it, with the Sigma 1,4 TC. The images where absolutly usable. Focus however had to hunt in bright light, ar done manually. If there could be a improvement I could do, I would reduce the weight! And that is in my opinion the only downside to this lens. But than again, the upside is, you work with this lens for a month and you look like Dwayne Jonhson.
All in all, I think this is an awesome lens and used on a gimbal, you will be hard pressed to find better!
    Thank you Kazuto Yamaki Sama!
