10 out of 10 points and recommendedLightweight, Cheap, lots of value for the moneyOnly f/5.6 @ 200mm
Excellent lens with a lot of value for the money, and extremely lightweight.reviewed November 6th, 2008 (purchased for $280)
The downside is that it´s not very light sensitive, but the 70-200 mm f/2.8 costs roughly 9 times as much, at least in Sweden, so it was never an option.
Really a great lens, fantastic for portraits.
10 out of 10 points and recommendedSharpness, Build quality, AF speed!none
Really sharp, very thin DoF.reviewed January 26th, 2009 (purchased for $500)
Build quality is great, autofocus is INCREDIBLY fast, even compared to the 18-55 VR and 55-200mm VR lenses.
Simply a great lens, at a bargain price.
9 out of 10 points and recommendedIQ, Small, Lightweight, Cheap, Very FastMaybe too small? No distance scale, AF perhaps isnôt the fastest
Great lens, very cheap and extremely fast in low light. Very compact and lightweight, a bargain really, not much to argue about that.reviewed April 17th, 2009 (purchased for $230)
IQ is good, but of course not as good as the AF-S 60mm macro, neither is the AF-speed, but still, a great lens.
