The downside is that it´s not very light sensitive, but the 70-200 mm f/2.8 costs roughly 9 times as much, at least in Sweden, so it was never an option.
Really a great lens, fantastic for portraits. -

Build quality is great, autofocus is INCREDIBLY fast, even compared to the 18-55 VR and 55-200mm VR lenses.
Simply a great lens, at a bargain price. -
Nikon 35mm f/1.8G DX AF-S Nikkor
9 out of 10 points and recommendedIQ, Small, Lightweight, Cheap, Very FastMaybe too small? No distance scale, AF perhaps isn´t the fastestGreat lens, very cheap and extremely fast in low light. Very compact and lightweight, a bargain really, not much to argue about that.

IQ is good, but of course not as good as the AF-S 60mm macro, neither is the AF-speed, but still, a great lens.
Highly recommended.
