9 out of 10 points and recommended
Small. Light. Good pictures if used within expected limits. Price. It's £100! $130! I get great results.
Realistically.....not many. As with many reviews.....the person using the equipment!?

I purchased this small lens to take skiing along with my new A7Riii. Switch to APSC and I'm down to 18mp. BUT I get better video footage as there is less pixel binning etc. Lets be blunt. I'm not going to take a big zoom lens or my primes skiing zipped in the front of my jacket and a bigger lens in a backpack which WILL NOT get used. The lens only just juts out further than the hand grip! It was great. Nice shots of the wife. Snowy landscapes. Street shots at night. If you haven't got your camera with you......you get NO shots. This pair fit in my pocket, so came everywhere. FORGET lab tests, all my family/ friends went wow at the photos. The A7Riii coped well with the light especially at night. It's just a great little lens that can be taken everywhere. I have some lovely shots of my wife with the snowy mountains blurred in the background. Some friends asked if they were 'professional'? Enough said. It's 100! $130
I see in some reviews that some lens' have quality issues. Replace it if so. The lens I am basing this review on is second hand ($80 bought just as I was going skiing) as the new one I ordered has still NOT arrived. Maybe my A7Riii makes the lens look good, as it does me, but I'm getting great results. Another point, I put a silicone wrist band over the bayonet joint to keep snow and anything out. simple tip, but it works.
