  • Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM

10 out of 10 points and recommended
AF, very fast , contrast, color, 2,8 and very sharp, construction quality,
heavy (but it depends on yours arms).

it's an excellent lens for reportage and a very good walk around lens. (because the AF is very fast)

very sharp @ every focal lengh and aperture, (on my 10D)

this 24-70 is expensive for an amateur , but the image quality is here

  • Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

10 out of 10 points and recommended
very fast, very sharp , construction quality,
heavy (but it depends on your arms)

for me, it's the best Canon zoom
    the construction is perfect,
AF very very fast, it's like a formula 1 !!
and the image quality is the same as equivalent prime lenses.

I use this lens for sport photos, and reportage. It's a "must have".

  • Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

9 out of 10 points and recommended
range, IS , good AF , light
    aperture

I use this lens with my EOS 3 ,
it's a very good range for reportage, walk around, portraits.

IS is good for low light, but not equal with L series
    it's a little noisy.

anyway, for the price, it's a good lens, very easy to use.

no IS , no collar ring

AF very good, image quality excellent, very sharp @ every focal lenght and aperture.

good for sports photos and reportage,

if you are in a sunny country , F4 is enough.
