  • Olympus 17mm f/2.8 M.Zuiko Digital

7 out of 10 points and recommended
    very compact, weight, decently sharp,
no hood, plasticy, price (in Europe)

It's a very compact lens and a fun to use. But the lens has his limitations. Be careful with apertures over the digit 11 ! Diffraction ! And as a standard lens for a camera without flash she is IMO not really fast. Maybe the Pana 20mm /1.7 is the better lens for you, if you can stand the look (big black cowpat on Pen in silver). I also miss the hood. If you are not careful with the sun you get a mild haze over your picture which is hard to control in PS. My -subjective- impression after the implementation of the new firmware (E-P1 and lens): autofocus is a lot faster now, clearly faster as on the 14-42 Oly MFT-Zoom lens.
