This was my very first lens. I still use it and it works great. This is my default walk-around lens. I like the colors and sharpness.

I use this lens on my 50D. I had the non VC version for a while and I loved it. Then once I borrowed friends VC and fall in love with it. I am thinking of selling the non VC version soon. This lens is way better than my Canon 17-40 L lens.
