ArcSoft PhotoStudio Wins Excellence In Imaging Award

LAS VEGAS -- ArcSoft, Inc., a leading digital imaging software company and creators of PhotoIsland.com (www.photoisland.com), announced today that PhotoStudio2000 has won the Excellence in Imaging Award sponsored by Popular Science Magazine at this year's Digital Focus event. A finalist in the Consumer Image Editing Software category, PhotoStudio 2000 is a full-featured, dynamic photo-editing program that gives users the ability to edit, retouch and perfect their digital images. In addition, PhotoStudio 2000 is the only photo editing software on the market that lets users upload and download their images to the Internet via Arcsoft's PhotoIsland.com photo-sharing and archiving Web site.

Moreover, PhotoStudio includes a Studio Assistant with step-by-step instructions, Tips of The Day and detailed Help files to guide users through the program. The Studio Assistant also includes a Do It For Me Button that automatically applies the features of the topic discussed to the active image. For example, if the user calls on the Studio Assistant to go through the steps involved with the Emboss feature, the Do It For Me Button will automatically appear, and with one click the active image is embossed. Completely integrated with ArcSoft's PhotoIsland photo-sharing site, the program lets users instantly upload and download their images to the web.
