Notes & Features: Sold under similar concept to single-use film cameras; customer purchases camera at a set cost, takes up to 24 images, and returns camera to store. One set of prints is included in the price of the camera, and further copies can be ordered; camera is returned to manufacturer, repackaged and resold for another single use. The end-user cannot download images or recharge the battery themselves. The camera powers down automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity. Being test-marketed in Japan as of 19 October 2001 for three months, as a cooperation between Asahi Optical Co. Ltd. (Pentax), Altech Co. Ltd. and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd.
