PRESS RELEASE: Phase One H 25 With Gigantic 22 Mega-Pixel CCD

Photokina 2002, Cologne, Germany, September 25, 2002: Phase One, known for providing the world's leading high-end digital camera solutions, announces today a landmark within digital photography: The Phase One H 25 digital camera system with 22 mega-pixels - the largest CCD sensor available on the market.

Henrik Hkonsson states:" Phase One is setting new standards within digital image quality with this announcement. Photographers will be able to generate files of at least 64 MB with the new 22 mega-pixel CCD. Powerful platforms, fast image transfer and well-proven, intuitive software to control the workflow are necessary to handle files of these sizes. Our digital camera systems already fulfill these requirements."

"We expect to ship the new digital system in June next year. There are still tests that must be carried out with the new CCD and we will not expose all details at the present moment. However, we promise that Phase One will come up with another winner that focuses on making the professional photographer's work convenient, profitable and with unsurpassed image quality."

"All new customers who purchase a Phase One digital system from today until June 2003 will be able to upgrade to an H 25. The upgrade price will only be the price difference between the system they bought and the new H 25. For this small amount, Phase One users get the latest technology available on the market. All of Phase One's digital camera systems have won international awards for best image quality and most intuitive workflow, and we guarantee that the new Phase One H 25 will continue this record," Henrik Hkonsson concludes.

The Phase One H 25 will be available in June 2003. To learn more about Phase One's products, visit the Phase One web site at www.phaseone.com.
