Final thoughts from Dave on Minolta's innovative ultracompact digicam...
I guess this is the day for long-overdue Minolta updates - I've just posted a final version of my Dimage X review, updated with a full set of test images, complete with analysis and conclusions.
My final conclusion? This is a heck of a neat camera, takes surprisingly good pictures for such a compact body. There's some corner softness from the folded lens, but color is great, and the portability is unparalleled. As I said when I first reviewed it, this is one of the rare cameras that passes the "Dave wants one" test!
