PRESS RELEASE: New video editing software built with ACD's Software Development Kit (SDK)
Victoria, British Columbia, May 27, 2003 -- ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX: ASA), the digital imaging company, today announced the release of VideoGenesis, a fast video editing and video rotation software program developed by Magic Kite Software Ltd. with ACD's Software Development Kit (SDK). VideoGenesis operates as a plug-in to ACD's award winning
digital imaging software, ACDSee™, and will be marketed through ACD Systems' extensive sales and marketing channels.
VideoGenesis' key benefit is the speed at which it can rotate a video clip. The program also enables users to modify and save their existing videos using a series of effects, such as sharpen, auto-correction of color and exposure, and the application of sepia tone and oil painting effects.
