EasyPhoto Automatically Resizes Images

Big Green Software has released EasyPhoto 1.2.5. The drag-and-drop Macintosh application rotates, resizes and saves email-sized images in over 30 formats.

Option include direct downloading from a digicam in OS X, setting a file size limit or a quality setting for resized images. A surprising large number of image editingn options are also available include cropping, red-eye removal, blur, RGB balance, color tint, brightness, contrast and sharpen.

Also included with the application is EasyPhotoPlugin, an OS X contextual menu plug-in active in the Finder. The plug-in can convert any selected image using EasyPhoto's preferences, save any image as a JPEG and create a thumbnail icon of the selected image.

The $10 shareware application runs under Mac OS 9 with Carbon Lib and at least QuickTime 4 as well as OS X. It can be downloaded from http://homepage.mac.com/biggreen at no charge.
