Mike Chaney of Digital Domain Inc. (better known as DDI Software) - the company behind popular imaging utility Qimage and profiling tool Profile Prism - dropped us an email with news that DDI is now offering printer profiles for sale on its website.

For those of our readers who use the correct combinations of printer, paper and inks, this could be a great way to get an accurate color profile without taking the time or needing the hardware to do it themselves. Printer profiles currently available are for the Canon i950, Epson Stylus Photo 1270, Stylus Photo 2200, and Stylus Pro 7600 / 9600 with a variety of papers and inks. Pricing starts at $25 for a single profile, with discounts available on purchases of multiple profiles at once.
