Mike Pasini, The Imaging Resource (Monday, January 26, 2004 - 14:13 EST)Apple has delivered iLife '04 for Mac OS X, updating iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD and adding GarageBand to join the new iTunes. So we dashed down to BigStore to buy it along with everyone else. Quite an experience.
Unfortunately, much as we appreciated the improvements, we found the package a little rough around the edges. While iMovie takes the prize for the most polished of the apps, iPhoto still doesn't provide any library management while adding only incremental improvements. And the first version of iDVD to run without a SuperDrive installed just won't launch without a SuperDrive unless iPhoto or iMovie launches it.
