LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5 -- Helping people share their pictures from any room in their house, Eastman Kodak Company today introduced WiFi support for its EASYSHARE Printer Dock Plus snapshot printer. The KODAK Wi-Fi card will be available this June for US$99 (MSRP).

After inserting the Wi-Fi (802.11b) card into the Printer Dock Plus, pictures from a docked EASYSHARE digital camera can be transferred wirelessly to a computer on the home network for immediate viewing, sharing and printing. In addition, the Printer Dock Plus can then act as a wireless picture printer for WiFi-enabled devices such as desktops, laptops, and even the new KODAK EASYSHARE-ONE digital camera.

"With the EASYSHARE printer dock line, people can make a real KODAK print in as little as 60 seconds with the press of a button," said Richard Stearns, general manager of home printing systems at Kodak. "Now, with the addition of Wi-Fi, they can use the one-touch transfer feature for sending pictures to a computer on the other side of the house. For instance, I can place my EASYSHARE LS753 camera on the Printer Dock Plus in my living room, press the transfer button, and have pictures queued on my home office computer within seconds."

WiFi is the latest wireless specification added to the Printer Dock Plus, joining built-in infrared (IrDA) support and the optional KODAK Wireless USB Adapter for BLUETOOTH® technology, which help make camera phone images into KODAK prints.

EASYSHARE printer docks make printing one-touch simple, which - when combined with their speed and phenomenal picture quality - has resulted in overwhelming demand from picture takers worldwide. KODAK EASYSHARE printer docks have achieved the number one market share in the United States and the United Kingdom, according to The NPD Group and GfK.

The award-winning KODAK EASYSHARE consumer digital photography system - consisting of cameras, software, printer docks and camera docks, inkjet and thermal papers, and accessories - makes it simple for anyone to take, organize, share, and print high quality digital pictures. More information on the KODAK EASYSHARE system is available at www.kodak.com/go/EasyShare.
