Pentax announces Optio SVi By

Pentax Europe and Japan have both announced a new digital camera model in the last few days, one that will apparently not be coming to the USA. The Pentax Optio SVi is very closely based on the existing Optio SV model, announced last September, and the only noticeable difference between the two models is a slight redesign of the handgrip. As with the Optio SV, the Optio SVi features a five megapixel CCD imager coupled with a 5x optical zoom lens. Other features include SD card storage and a 1.8" LCD display.
