Canon 1D Mk II/1Ds MkII firmware By
Michael R. Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Wednesday, October 12, 2005 - 10:20 EDT)Canon U.S.A. Inc. yesterday released updated firmware for two of its professional single-lens reflex digital SLR models.
Version 1.2.4 of firmware for the EOS-1D Mark II has two changes as follows:
Fixes a file-numbering error that occurred during Bulb shooting.
Improves communication reliability when using some CF cards.
Version 1.1.4 of firmware for the EOS-1Ds Mark II incorporates these same two changes, plus one further update:
Fixes the phenomenon of horizontal line noise occurring when P.Fn-21 is set to ON.
