Canon: 30% sales increase for China? By
Michael R. Tomkins, The Imaging Resource (Monday, May 29, 2006 - 08:17 EDT)A news article today from Reuters reports that Japanese camera giant Canon Inc. is expecting to increase its sales in China by 30% over last year.
The company saw about the same increase last year, and says the Chinese market currently accounts for somewhere under 10% of its sales. Sales growth last year was apparently largely due to demand for the company's digital cameras.
