A sliding door protects the lens from damage; though because it's a folded optic, the Pentax PZ10's lens stays inside the camera regardless of the focal length. A 2.5-inch LCD, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a high ISO of 3,200 round out the Pentax PZ10's basics. Face Detection and Digital Wide angle function pique the interest a little more.
