X-Rite has announced its latest ColorChecker profiling product, the ColorChecker Passport.

The Passport consists of a rugged plastic case which contains three targets - X-Rite's ColorChecker White Balance, ColorChecker Classic and ColorChecker Creative Enhancement targets. The case not only shields the targets from the effects of UV light and the elements, but also serves as a stand to help position the targets in a scene. A lanyard is included to keep the ColorChecker Passport close to hand, and to assist in positioning of targets. A bundled CD includes both Mac and Windows versions of X-Rite's standalone ColorChecker Passport Desktop application, and a Lightroom plugin version of ColorChecker Passport - both of which allow creation of DNG profiles for use in an Adobe RAW processing workflow.

The ColorChecker Passport kit is available immediately, priced at around $100. For more details, read the press release below.
