PRESS RELEASE: Kubota Image Tools Brings In-Depth Workshop Classes Online With E:Class Program
In the First Session of the New e:CLASS Series, Host Kevin Kubota Will Educate Attendees on Updated Workflow Tactics for Lightroom 3
Bend, OR – JULY 12, 2010 – Kubota Image Tools, provider of photographer-empowering creative imaging tools, workflow-saving solutions and educational offerings for photographers of all levels, today announced it will begin offering a new educational format that combines the business value of its popular Digital Photography Bootcamps with the convenience of an in-home or in-studio setting. The e:CLASS series will be taught by company founder and Idea Guy Kevin Kubota, who will bring his unique photographic expertise and learning-style to the online-seminars.
Kubota Image Tools’ e:CLASS series is a unique way to provide the quality education photographers have come to expect from the company’s live seminars, but in a convenient and affordable format to meet the demanding schedules of professional photographers.
“We feel these new e:CLASSES, which will each focus on a different business-driving topic, will allow people to join in easily and attend only the programs that they feel are most appropriate for their learning needs,” said Kevin Kubota. “The live format of our e:CLASSES will let us bring the energy and interaction that is so important to any effective learning method to these online sessions.”
First e:CLASS – Update Your Workflow with New Lightroom 3 Features, July 21, 2010, 10:00 a.m. PDT
The first e:CLASS will provide attendees with Kubota’s in-depth analysis of Adobe Lightroom 3, during which he will delve into new workflow-saving techniques unique to the latest version of the software. This first online class will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. PDT on July 21, 2010 and will include a 30-minute interactive Q&A session.
Kubota previously produced an award-winning Workflow Tutorial for Lightroom, and has found several enhancements in Lightroom 3 that will provide important benefits to professional photographers at all levels of experience. Kubota will educate attendees on how to use new enhancements to Lightroom 3 that will directly impact photographers’ business and creative potentials, and assist ‘on the fence’ users in deciding whether the upgrade is right for them.
Examples of the Lightroom 3 features to be highlighted include:
Speed: Lightroom 3 offers speed enhancements over Lightroom 2, but not all systems will benefit equally.
Easily Import and Organize Video Files: Though there are some limitations to be aware of, Lightroom 3 tracks video files from events along with the stills.
Online Publishing Services: Users can quickly and easily upload images to online photo host sites, as well as see and manage them all from Lightroom 3. The e:CLASS will cover how to use these sites in day-to-day business, including how to use an iPhone for an easily updated portfolio or for image backup.
Image Quality Changes and Process Versions: Images should look even better in Lightroom 3, but occasionally this could change the look of the image compared to Lightroom 2. e:CLASS participants will learn how to avoid surprises and restore the original if the original is preferred.
This e:CLASS costs $39 to attend and includes access to a recorded copy for download, as well as a $20 coupon for any Kubota Image Tools Lightroom products through 2010. To register or for more information please visit: www.kubotaimagetools.com/eclass/lightroom3
