Notes & Features: Pixel size is 3.275 microns square. Lens has 9 elements in 7 groups including one aspheric element. Autofocus uses 3 automatically selected AF points, or user can lock AF to center point only. Has three manual focus settings - Macro, Landscape (Infinity) or Snap (5.0 - 8.3 feet, 1.5 - 2.5 meters). Effects modes are Vivid (saturation boosted), Neutral (saturation reduced), Sepia, Black & White, Low Sharpening (in-camera sharpening reduced). Burst-mode rate of 2.5 frames/second requires LCD to be turned off. Flash always fires at full power when in manual exposure mode. Flash sync is 1/30 and faster in normal mode, all speeds in slow-synchro mode. Supports direct printing to Canon CP-10 and CP-100 printers. Record battery life claimed at 500 images without LCD or 200 with LCD for alkalines, 1000 images without LCD or 350 with for NiMH. Playback battery life claimed at 240 minutes with either Alkaline or NiMH batteries. Bundled with IFC-300 PCU USB cable. Optional accessories include 24.5mm WC-DC52 wide-angle and 252mm TC-DC52 telephoto lenses, AC Adapter Kit ACK 600 (includes AC adapter CA-PS500).
