More Information
Notes & Features: Successor to the FujiFilm FinePix 4900 Zoom and 6900 Zoom digital cameras. Lens is an EBC-coated Fujinon 6x optical zoom. Has two macro-focusing modes - Macro focuses 0.3 - 2.6 feet (9.1 to 79.2cm), Super Macro focuses 0.4 - 7.9" (1 to 20.1cm). (!!) "Pixel Data Coupling" technology allows for increased ISO rating at lower resolutions with minimal increase in image noise (up to ISO1600 in 1280 x 960 pixels). "Pixel Mixing" allows for high-framerate VGA video clips. Shutter speeds 3 - 15 seconds available in manual mode only. Shutter speeds less than 1/1000 second only available in Auto and Scene modes. Burst-mode image rates are 1.8 frames/second up to 40 images in 1280 x 960 pixels, or 5 frames/second up to 5 images in 2832 x 2128 pixels (interpolated). Also available is a burst mode that allows the user to hold the shutter button down, and the camera continuously monitors 5 frames per second until the shutter is released - at which point only the last 5 images are saved. 30-second voice clips can be recorded with each picture. Digital zoom is 1.4x at 2048 x 1536, 2.2x at 1280 x 960 or 4.4x at 640 x 480 pixels. Has histogram feature in playback mode. Compatible with 3.3V SmartMedia from 2 to 128MB, or CompactFlash Type-I or II including IBM Microdrive to 1GB. Comes bundled with a 16MB SmartMedia card, four AA NiMH batteries with charger, shoulder strap and USB and video cables. Optional accessories include AC-5VHS AC adapter.
