Imaging Resource is a free website: Our readers pay nothing for the extensive testing and writing we do - We live off of a combination of ads and shopping clicks.

We've done well since 1998, but the current economic crisis is having a huge impact on our revenue. Consumers are (wisely) pinching their pennies, so income from both shopping clicks and ads is way down.

Bottom line, we need your help, by making a small donation or signing up for a "Subscription."

Subscriptions are handled automatically by PayPal: They'll transfer funds from your account to ours whenever your chosen time frame rolls around. Subscriptions are a big help because they're recurring income we can count on. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Every month, we post thousands of words of reviews, and hundreds (often thousands) of sample photos. Readers download terabytes of images, including the broadest array of RAW image files on the Internet. Your subscription or donation helps keep the great stuff coming! Subscribe for $10

The standard subscription amount is $10, you choose how much you contribute by how often you send it to us.* A monthly contribution would be very generous, and enormously appreciated. An annual contribution works out to only 2.7 cents per day, so is very affordable. (But would still be very appreciated.)

*The reason we do the variable terms on our "subscriptions" is to reduce the amount that's eaten up by PayPal's fee structure. They charge us $0.30 per transaction, plus 2.9%. So a monthly donation of $0.83 (the equivalent of an annual "subscription" as set out above) would net us only $0.51, while PayPal would get $0.32. That would be 39% of your contribution going to PayPal, rather than IR! With a $10 contribution, that percentage drops to only 6%, a much more resonable proposition.
