Alex Neary is a professional photographer, with a nannying gig on the side. After frequently photographing a young charge of hers, he started suggesting poses that she should mimic. And so, and adorable series of photographs called "Henry's Concepts" was born.

In each image, Neary snaps Henry making a pose of his choice, and then the pair swap places, with her recreating the position, and Henry snapping the image. As she describes it:

I am a nanny to the world’s coolest kid, Henry. I have been looking after him for about a year and a half and for that entire time he has had to pose for my camera. One day he turned to me and said, ‘Alec, take a photo of me like this.’ The pose he chose was…interesting. He then declared that he wanted to take a photo of me doing the same pose. It was right then and there a lightbulb went off and ‘Henry’s Concepts’ was born.

Each of these photos is strictly Henry’s idea. He chooses the location and the pose. I take the photo of him and then he takes the photo of me.

Henry is two and a half.

The poses are precisely as adorable and bizarre as you'd expect from a slightly bossy toddler. They're hanging off things, perching on things, and just generally in all manner of positions. And yes, it's extremely cute.

Meanwhile, you can see more of Neary's work on her website and Facebook page.
