Was your interest piqued by this recent recommendation of VSCO Cam as the best iPhone editing app around? Now's a perfect time to take the app for a spin, as VSCO Cam has just hit version 3.0, and it has added a more social aspect to the application.

Version 3.0 has a new alignment tool for editing, a slightly tweaked interface, better preset organization tools, auto save to camera roll, and a handful of other minor tweaks. But by far the most interesting new feature is more tight integration with VSCO Grid, the up and coming social network tied to VSCO Cam. Now you can follow other photographers directly from the app, with their photography landing in your own news feed.

With Instagram feeling less and less photo centric these days, VSCO Grid looks a lot like a social network that is all about image quality. And, unlike the current iteration of Instagram, it doesn't limit you to square crop images.

Unfortunately VSCO Cam 3.0 is currently only available for iOS, but we're hoping the Android version will be similarly updated in the near future.

In the meantime, if you use VSCO Cam and VSCO Grid, feel free to share your user name below, and we can get some people following one another!
