Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon T* 2.8/21
10 out of 10 points and recommendedsharp from corner to corner, built solidno AFThe 21mm is by far the best wide angle lens I've used. As all Zeiss lenses this one is manual focus... but that's not a major issue. I'm using it with the Canon 5D MKII and I'm 100% satisfied. Here are a couple shots I took with the lens. I hope you enjoy: http://tinyurl.com/y9ehsre

I would suggest this lens if you don't mind manual focus. If you depend on AF then Zeiss lenses aren't for you. -
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
8 out of 10 points and recommendedcovers large zoom rangeharsh bokeh, AF hard to lock in sometimesThis was my first lens which came package with my 5DMKII. While it was nice to have a wide range from 24-105mm I wasn't impressed with the AF. I found it difficult to lock in a target with decent contrast. I sold the 24-105mm and got the 24-70mm - BIG difference!

I prefer the 24-70mm over the 24-105mm for many reasons. Faster, sharper on the edges and never had issues with the AF.
The 24-105mm is a good lens... but there are better in the Canon line-up.
