Hall 2.1, Stand A020/B029 and B020/B028 - Hasselblad will be celebrating the successful upturn in its financial performance since its merger with Imacon in 2004 by exhibiting on its largest stand ever - 665 m2 - at photokina 2006, from 26 September to 1 October.

The centerpiece of the stand will be a spectacular, ten-metre diameter carousel, divided into three ‘studios’ - ‘Still life’, ‘Dance’ and ‘Catwalk’. Every hour the carousel will turn through 120 degrees to display a live studio session, shot by one of three professional photographers - Francis Hills from New York, Nick Tresidder from New Zealand, and Jürgen Müller from Germany.

The full range of Hasselblad’s digital scanners, cameras and backs, including the award-winning H2D-39 - the world’s first 39 megapixel DSLR camera - and the Limited Edition Hasselblad 503CWD digital camera, will be exhibited on the stand and technical specialists will be on hand for in depth demonstrations of the equipment.

There will also be an area dedicated to VICTOR, Hasselblad’s new in-house magazine, which will be launched at the show. Visitors will be able to watch a video about VICTOR, chat to Hasselblad representatives and subscribe to the magazine.
