DOVER, NJ, May 2, 2005 - CASIO, Inc., has named William H. Heuer to the position of Senior Vice President of Casio Inc. and head of its Digital Imaging Division. An industry veteran, Heuer has extensive marketing, sales and business development experience in the digital imaging arena. In his new position, Heuer will be responsible for sales, marketing and the overall operations of Casio's digital imaging division. He will work with executive management of Casio Inc., and the global headquarters in Japan to establish and define the corporate and divisional brand positioning for all digital imaging products.

Prior to joining Casio, Heuer was a managing principal of Heuer & Associates, LLC, a growth and venture development company serving emerging ventures and established corporations pursuing growth through innovation. Heuer has also held the position of president of Kyocera Optics, Inc., (Yashica and Contax brand cameras) where he provided executive leadership that resulted in significant growth and turnaround. He was also a Member of the Board of Directors of Kyocera's $1 billion North American Holding Company.

Heuer's vast experience also includes top positions in major companies such as Ansco Photo Optical Company, Harwood Plastics, Bell & Howell/Mamiya Co., J. Osawa & Company, Osawa Precision Industries, Tokyo, and Bell & Howell Company, Inc.
