Canon Releases Firmware Update for Digital Rebel XTi/400D|

The new version fixes PictBridge lens name reporting, red-eye options when connected to certain printers and communication with Canon's 380EX flash.
Canon today released firmware update 1.0.5 for its EOS Digital Rebel XTi/EOS 400D Digital dSLR.
According to the company firmware version 1.0.5 incorporates the following fixes and improvement:
• Fixes the printing of lens names when using PictBridge.
• [Redeye 1] can now be selected when connecting with specific printers.
• Improves the reliability of communication with the Speedlite 380EX.
