Adobe Senior Vice President John Loicono demoed the Web app at Photoshop World.

On his blog, Photoshop Product Manager John Nack reported late Thursday that "the crowd at Photoshop World got a quick preview of Photoshop Express, a new application currently in development at Adobe." He also posted a screenshot of the Web application "that's meant to make Adobe imaging technology immediately accessible way to large numbers of people."

The screen shot, Nack said, was part of a live demo by Adobe Senior Vice President John Loicono that "showed that it was possible to adjust an image just by rolling over the different versions shown at the top, previewing the results & then clicking the desired degree of modification."

Adobe also unveiled a new Photoshop logo and some discounts on Photoshop/Lightroom bundles. See the release below for details.

Original Source Press Release:

New Offerings from Adobe Revealed in Photoshop World 2007 Keynote

On September 6th at Photoshop World 2007 in Las Vegas, John Loiacono, senior vice president of the Creative Solutions Business Unit at Adobe, revealed three of its latest offerings -- a sneak peek at Adobe Photoshop Express, the Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom purchase offer and a new Photoshop logo.

Sneak Peek of Adobe Photoshop Express

Thousands of National Association of Photoshop Professionals got a sneak peek of Photoshop Express, a new application currently in development at Adobe. Following the release of its popular online video editor, Premiere Express, Adobe is leveraging its industry standard Photoshop technology and making it accessible to the masses with an online consumer-focused image editing solution called Adobe Photoshop Express.

Earlier this year, Adobe introduced Premiere Express, its free, online video editor for creating mash-ups and remixes. Available to millions of Web users at Photobucket, MTV.com and YouTube's TestTube site, Adobe Premiere Express is a lightweight Flash-based Web application that's easy and fun to use.

Adobe Photoshop Express is not yet publicly available.

Adobe Photoshop CS3/CS3 Extended and Photoshop Lightroom Purchase Offer

Adobe will offer savings of up to $150 when Adobe Photoshop CS3 or Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended is purchased with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

Photoshop CS3 software offers new innovations in editing power and productivity for designers and photographers. Photoshop CS3 Extended gives creative professionals everything in Photoshop CS3 plus tools for 3-D, motion graphics, image measurement and analysis. Combined with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, the two work hand in hand to efficiently manage thousands of images -- or perfect just one.

Savings will be offered through the Adobe Store and certain select resellers.

The Photoshop Logo

Adobe also unveiled the Photoshop logo, which represents the family of Photoshop products. The Photoshop logo on a product, service, or technology represents the rich legacy, technical quality, and attention to detail that has made Photoshop the gold standard in digital imaging.

This logo will appear at a near future date on all Photoshop-related marketing. For more information, visit http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/family/.
