September 16, 2008 - FUJIFILM Corporation and Nintendo Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce the launch of the Digital Photo Print Channel for Wii, an internet-based printing service for digital photo prints, photobooks and other items, using Nintendo’s WiiTM. This service was first introduced in Japan on July 23, 2008.

Fujifilm currently offers a high quality printing service which produces digital photo prints, and photobooks which assembles several photos into an album. Fujifilm also offers online printing services that allows customers to easily place digital photo prints orders.

Nintendo’s aim is that the Wii will become ``the machine that puts smiles on peoples faces´´ via communications to all the family. In addition to the traditional game genre, Nintendo always tries to provide new experiences which will enrich peoples daily lives. As an example, using the Wii´s ``Photo Channel,´´ users can upload photos taken with their own digital camera or cell phone with an SD memory card, and enjoy displaying those images on their TV screen, editing the images, creating movie slides, and sharing them with family and friends.

Through their synergy, Fujifilm and Nintendo aim to offer the whole family an easy to use and convenient service to get the most out of their photographs. The customers edit their photos using the contents provided at the Digital Photo Print Channel to create an order data via the Wii, Fujifilm will then fulfill the order by creating and sending the final products.

The Digital Photo Print Channel features the following three printing options: - Digital Photo Prints: Images captured with a digital camera are printed as high-quality photos - Original Wii Photobook - Original Wii Name Card This Wii-based print service has already started in Japan and is also scheduled to be launched worldwide.

(The names of Digital Photo Print Channel and the three printing options are still provisional prior to the worldwide introduction.)
