Users Can Easily Upload and View Images From iPhone and iPod Touch

MELVILLE, NY (Jan. 6) -- Nikon today announced that its my Picturetown application, for photo storage and sharing, is now available for download free of charge to iPhone and iPod Touch. With my Picturetown, users of these devices can access, upload and share their images with friends and family, anytime, anywhere.

Nikon's my Picturetown makes it easy for consumers to securely store their photos and share them with family and friends. Through my Picturetown, users can email images, publish to Flickr and link their photos to blogs and social networking sites.

The my Picturetown application includes the following features:

• Access to the user's my Picturetown online storage site

• Ability to create photo albums

• Tagging and organizing images

• Ability to upload images taken via the iPhone camera

"We are very excited to offer the my Picturetown application for iPhone and iPod Touch to consumers as a new avenue for storing and viewing photos," said Chuck DeLuca, product manager, marketing, COOLPIX for Nikon Inc. "With the my Picturetown application, users can easily upload and organize their images with the added convenience of complete mobility."

The my Picturetown application is available free of charge on the iTunes App store.

Each user receives two gigabytes of free storage on the my Picturetown online service with the option to purchase up to 200-GB through a my Picturetown Gold Account.
