The company is looking for CS4 userws experiencing problems to test a small pre-release program.

In a blog entry today, Photoshop Product Manager John Nack noted, "In the time since Photoshop CS4 shipped, we've heard from some customers about various things not working as designed."

The most serious issue he cited is that some Windows XP configurations "can exhibit slowdowns." While video card drivers can contribute to the problem, the team has decided to release a Photoshop update to "improve the situation."

To test the company's fixes for performance issue, Adobe is asking CS4 users who are experiencing problems to contact Adam Jerugim by email (his address is in the blog entry) to test "a small pre-release program that we're opening to public volunteers."
