Nik Software Inc. has released an updated version of Viveza 2, its powerful color and light adjustment plugin for Adobe's Photoshop and Lightroom, as well as Apple's Aperture.

Nik Software Viveza v2.003 is available immediately for both Macintosh and Windows, and is now 64-bit compatible on both platforms. In addition, the new release fixes unspecified minor bugs in the previous v2.002 release.

The Windows version of Viveza 2.003 is compatible with XP SP3, as well as Vista and 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit variants, and requires either Photoshop CS2 thru CS5 (32 or 64-bit), Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 thru 8, or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.3 or later. On the Macintosh, Viveza 2.003 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later, and either Photoshop CS3 thru CS5 (32 or 64-bit), Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and 8, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.3 or later, or Apple's own Aperture 2.1.x and Aperture 3 (32 or 64-bit).

Mac users should note that the update isn't currently compatible with either Photoshop CS2 or Mac OS 10.4.

More details can be found on the Nik Software website.
