BatchPhoto makes the task of protecting digital photos, with superimposed watermarks, easy and fast by processing hundreds of pictures in one session and by taking advantage of multi-core processors to speed-up the process. The operation can even be performed directly from Windows Explorer's contextual (right-click) menu.

Craiova, Romania (PRWEB) April 12, 2011 -- Bits&Coffee has released BatchPhoto v. 2.8, a powerful Windows photo editor program that makes it easy to annotate, touch up, transform, apply effects, convert and rename hundreds of pictures in a single operation. Instead of enhancing and adjusting pictures individually, BatchPhoto lets you select a group of photos, define a series of edits, and apply them in a single operation.

Overall, BatchPhoto has 41 graphical filters that can be applied to pictures. The filters are divided into four main categories: Annotate, Touch Up, Transform, and Effects. The program is designed with productivity and ease of use in mind, so the user can save settings and use profiles for speeding up common tasks. BatchPhoto adds itself to Windows Explorer's contextual (right-click) menu, so the user can apply predefined or custom defined profiles to groups of pictures with ease.

In version 2.8, BatchPhoto has received a major update to the watermark feature. The program has two filters for watermarking photos: Watermark-Text, for adding text stamps; and Watermark-Image, for superimposing logos.

Additionally, in version 2.8, BatchPhoto receives full support for Unicode file names and text comments, and has been translated to: German, French and Italian. The new version also includes a new graphical filter for replacing one color (or the alpha channel) with another one, the ability to create JPEG images with a fixed file size as specified by the user, and additional image file formats.

BatchPhoto is also an image converter software that can read and write more than 140 image file formats, including: JPEG, TIFF, PDF, PNG, GIF, BMP, EPS, TGA, and PSD. It can also read almost all RAW image file format from professional (DSLR) digital cameras.

BatchPhoto v. 2.8 runs under Microsoft(R) Windows operating systems, including: Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. It comes in two editions: Home and Pro priced at $34.95(US), and $59.95(US).
