Mikayla Wells Lab Technician

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, my cameras have always been extensions of myself, extra appendages if you will. I love digital photography as you’d expect most millennial’s would, but I will always truly love film photography and getting my hands dirty in the darkroom. Taking complete control of the entire photographic process from start to finish is something I will always appreciate learning in college.

I graduated in 2015 from Piedmont College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography and was lucky enough to start working at IR in 2018 as the Photo Lab Technician and truly realize my complete and utter love for all things photo nerdy related and getting to know the cameras inside and out from start to finish.  Even though my time at IR has been brief so far I’ve learned an incredible amount in that time and I look forward to learning a great deal more as I go.
