Deal @ AMAZON

We named the Sony ZV-1F as the Best Budget Vlogging Camera in our comprehensive Best Vlogging Camera buyer’s guide. And for good reasons!

Unlike the more expensive ZV-1 II, this model features a fixed prime lens that is ultra-wide, making it easier to fit yourself and your surroundings in the frame without needing a long selfie stick. With specialized “Showcase” modes, it allows beginner vloggers to produce professional-looking 4K content straight out of the box.

According to multiple price tracking websites, this is one of the best prices we have seen for this camera on Amazon. It frequently hovers around $600, but catching it with a full $100+ discount is excellent timing for creators starting their channels or looking to improve their production quality.

Why the Sony ZV-1F Stands Out

Wider is Better for Vlogging

The defining feature of the ZV-1F is its 20mm equivalent f/2.0 lens. Most standard cameras start at 24mm or 28mm, which often crops into your face too tightly when hand-holding the camera. The ZV-1F’s 20mm field of view gives you “breathing room,” which allows you to capture the environment behind you.

Skin Tones and “Soft Skin” Effect

Sony has tuned the color science on this camera to prioritize healthy, natural skin tones. It includes a Soft Skin Effect mode (selectable low/mid/high) that smooths out blemishes in real-time while recording video, reducing the need for post-production editing.

Smartphone and Streaming Simplicity

The interface is designed to be touch-first, much like a phone. You can swipe up to access frequent settings, and the camera connects seamlessly to the Imaging Edge Mobile Plus app for quick transfers to your phone for social sharing. It also works as a high-quality 4K webcam via a single USB-C cable.

Who Is This Deal For and Is It a Good Time to Buy?

This deal is perfect for YouTubers, TikTok creators, and streamers who feel limited by their smartphone’s front-facing camera, particularly in low light. If you want better audio and depth of field without learning complex camera settings, this is the camera for you.

With this deal, you are getting a dedicated 1-inch sensor camera for under $500, which is rare in today’s market. With the $100 savings, you can pick up a shooting grip or a better microphone to complete your rig.
